Southern Continent Trader Caravan -> Inland Weyr -> Dalibor Weyr Rank:
Erochall can best be described as aloof. It's not that she doesn't want to be friendly, it's more that she has a hard time opening up to people she just met. She does have some trust issues from a broken relationship with her former best friend and can be slow to warm. However, she can be quite charming when she wants to be, and greatly enjoys teasing others whether she's purposefully annoying an authority figure or flirting with a boy. She despises rules and restrictions that are clearly borne out of tradition and do not actually benefit society in anyway. The girl is especially suspicious of anything that may come off as sexist thanks to her upbringing in an extremely conservative trader caravan. She has some problems connecting to male authority figures as a result. In addition, Ero can come off as lazy. She was raised with the finer things in life and to this day greatly enjoys luxury. While the girl does good work, she cannot often be rushed, preferring to work at her own slow pace in order to produce only the best results.
One thing Ero doesn't deal with is drama; she doesn't take other people's crap. If they want to start something with her, fine, but she's going to roll her eyes and walk the other way. She isn't afraid to stand up for herself, or others, and as far as she is concerned to between
with anyone who thinks they can get under her skin by starting baseless rumors. She believes there are far more important things to worry about in life. The girl can also be very curious and adventurous, even rebellious, although she isn't stupid, and is careful not to push herself - or others - too far. She just wants to test the limits of her freedom and enjoy her life to the fullest, knowing that one day it could all be taken away at a moment's notice. She lives with the constant fear that she might wake up to find herself back in the caravan, left to a life of servitude and stagnation, not to mention punishment just for wanting to ride a runner, etc. She believes her daring and determined nature will take her far on the path to riderhood, although others may not see past her detached and haughty exterior. Little do they know of the shackles that reappear in her nightmares bearing the faces of her father and grandfather who loom in her mind to this day.Appearance:
Erochall is on the tall side for women, standing at 5'10", with the long legs and arms to match. She has large dark brown eyes that sit below thick, curving black eyebrows, but above a long, skinny nose. Her thick black hair is normally parted down the center and left to hang when not plaited into a braid. The thick strands refuse to ever be brushed completely straight, instead curling into loose waves at the ends, and are quite the pain to deal with when she first rises from bed. Ero enjoys accessorizing and can often be found wearing gold jewelry to contrast nicely against her darkly tanned skin. Her choice of clothing, while prioritizing comfort over beauty, is no less elaborate when she can get away with it. She enjoys being finely dressed, even a little scandalous, in order to make the boys blush. It's rather entertaining.

Whiskers - Feline
Whiskers is a pure white feline with blue eyes that was gifted to Erochall by her mother on her 13th nameday. She is on the smaller side for felines with a short, fluffy coat of snow-colored fur. Her nose is light pink in color as are the insides of her ears. Whiskers will most likely be found sunning herself under Rukbat's light, preferably with a dragon and on the dragon's ledge. She likes the company of others and is unafraid of larger animals (including dragons and whers) unless they threaten her. Whiskers is quite easygoing all in all and will love you if you love her in turn. [Summer 14]History:
Erochall was born into an extremely conservative trader caravan that was considered to be sexist even by most Hold standards. The caravan typically ran the route along the Southern Continent from Frontier Hold to the west to Inland Hold to the east. It was made up of several families that shared traditional values and Erochall was lucky (or unlucky) enough to be born into the founder's family. However, Erochall's mother, Erokella, secretly sought freedom from the caravan. She decided one day, not long after her daughter's first turn, to take the infant and run. She didn't get very far before the caravan's wher caught up to her and scored a hit on the back of one of her legs. It was only through the intervention of a passing rider that Erokella was saved, although the baby she had been trying to keep with her, Erochall, had fallen from her grip in the process and was reclaimed by the caravan's wher.
The loyal wher refused to hand Erochall back to her distraught mother, instead handing the infant over to her father, Ochann. The man demanded Erokella return back to the caravan at once and beg for forgiveness, but the young woman refused. Erokella reluctantly chose to leave with the rider that had saved her to the freedom of Inland Weyr, figuring that one day she could come back to reclaim her child. Thus, Erochall was left in the hands of her father and grandfather. The girl was to be raised with the idea that her duty to the caravan was to marry a man of her father's choosing and raise his children. She was also tasked with domestic duties such as cooking and sewing alongside the other girls. In response to her mother's treachery, Erochall was to be watched over carefully, although she did get to enjoy being spoiled silly by her grandmother as her only granddaughter, since all her cousins were guys.
While Erochall did enjoy the relative ease and luxury of her life, she chafed under the restrictions placed upon her due to her gender as her mother before her had. She quickly came to realize what exactly her future entailed and how she was treated differently from her male cousins. Not to mention, she had a new mother who bent to Erochall's father like a blade of grass in the wind, a stark contrast to Ero herself who would often be taken out back to be punished anytime she pushed too far. Suddenly, the girl was very afraid of her destined future. Lucky for her, ten turns after the woman had originally left the caravan, Erokella came back for her lost daughter. Upon arrival at Inland Weyr, Erokella had been Searched, and now had a green dragon named Enikath to back her up. The green was quick to search Erochall, as well as one of her friends - a girl by the name of Aliwe - to which not even Erochall's grandfather could force them to stay. Both girls chose to go with Erokella and leave their life in the caravan far behind.
It took a great deal of time for both Erochall and Aliwe to adjust to life at Inland Weyr, but they made good use of their newfound freedom, mostly by being little rebels. Erochall also did her best to get to know the mother she did not remember as well as her mother's weyrmate who was awkward but kind. Perhaps the most surprising adjustment for the eleven turn old was not her newfound freedom, but that she had a younger half brother by the name of Kelrik. Erochall didn't quite know what to make of him, nor what role she was supposed to play in his life, so for the most part, she chose to avoid him despite her mother's wishes to see them getting along.
Once Erochall and Aliwe were both twelve in Summer 13, they decided that they wanted to become dragon candidates after all. At their first time Standing, Aliwe Impressed a beautiful orange hatchling, but Erochall remained a candidate. Admittedly, she was jealous of her friend, but she didn't dare let it show. Neither girl suspected the disastrous threadfall that would come to follow on the hatching's heels resulting in the death of many dragons, and very nearly, Aliwe's orange who was slow to react. The bad memories seemed to plague Aliwe and the girl transferred from Inland as soon as her weyrlinghood was finished, leaving Erochall behind. Dejected, having lost her best friend, Ero decided to withdraw from the candidate program and work in the kitchens instead. Needless to say, her mother was disappointed with her choice, and pushed the girl to figure out what it was she really wanted to do.
Finally, with the news of a new Weyr being founded, Erochall decided she wanted to resume being a candidate, but transfer like Aliwe had. She picked Dalibor because she thought that was maybe where Aliwe had gone; the girl had never told her former best friend which Weyr she was transferring to, only that she was transferring, and out of respect for their old friendship, Erochall had never asked. Her mother wished her good luck before sending the girl on her way once the transfer request had been approved.Dragon Name:
24 feetDragon Personality:
|As soon as it is raining, Tamanith is outdoors in the rain, ready to be a part of every facet of nature. She will even insist on going outdoors every chance she can get but particularly enjoys light sun showers. She loves sunning herself whenever she gets the chance and always seems a little more active at night. Tamanith will therefore sleep late and be difficult to awaken in the morning. Once she is awake she will become angry and grumpy often roaring or growling her displeasure. It is unusual that such a nature loving creature can have such an angry reaction to being woken up. She can be impatient and quick to anger if she is kept cooped up too long. |
She can also get quite defensive and is unlikely to admit she is wrong. To this end she can easily get into arguments with others and then pick fights with them when she disagrees. It is probably Tamanith’s biggest flaw. She especially disagrees with Oath on a lot of things but oddly seems to get along with the other dragon really well when not arguing. Even though Tamanith has a bit of a temper, she hates drama. It is ridiculous to consider that a dragon who can so easily rise to a taunt or argument will then turn around and say she hates drama. It is more that Tamanith has no desire to hold a grudge. She might get into an argument or fight with someone and the next day act as though they are her best friend. Although she will have no interest in holding grudges, she won’t necessarily back down in the heat of the moment. This can include getting into arguments with her superiors.
Tamanith is an adventurous sort of dragon requesting things like camping trips and days out just amongst nature. She would also be the type of dragon to request 'sleep overs' at other dragon’s Weyrs or in the Weyrbowl. She is hyper vigilant towards danger and very protective over Hers and Hers is the only one who can calm her down in the moment of rage. Tamanith is quick to move and protect her rider even if that means shouting into their head so loud that they can barely move. For Tamanith eating is a social event and she usually prefers to eat with 4-5 others.

Dragon History:[SP: 17]
|Tamanith has a notable light green mark across her chest. She also seems to gain weight in her tail. It is an odd appearance for the dragon and perhaps just a trick on the eyes but people may comment that she suddenly has a fatter tail after eating. It is certainly an unusual thing but the fat seems to first grow in her tail rather than her body. |
