BurgundyriderPersonality: Apathetic. Curious. Reflective.
Aline does not show emotion nor does she wear her heart on her sleeve. She feels emotion to be sure, though she does so in the privacy of her own rooms or about with Jiorrelth. Outward signs of it are few and far between. She just doesn't feel the need to let everyone and their grandmother see it. For all the apathy that Aline shows, she has an insatiable curiosity. New things will draw her in like a moth to the flame and she loves to learn everything she can. Once she does you can bet she'll be somewhere close to the dragon she calls hers, reflecting on it and turning it about in her mind until she knows every single detail. She's no where near as bossy as her burgundy but she can be. And as flirtatious as Jiorrelth, Aline is not looking forward to the day her dragon decides to chase. Appearance:
Aline is below average in height standing 5’3” tall. She has long slender legs that accompany long slender arms. She does not have ample curves and is quite small on top, though it works well for her. She is narrow through the hips and shoulders with a long slender neck. In a word, Aline is slender. She has a wide generous mouth, though the top lip is quite a bit thinner than her full bottom lip. When she smiles it is welcoming and happy but when she frowns it gives her a frozen appearance that is striking. Strong, well shaped brows sit atop dark chocolate brown eyes which sit on either side of a slender nose. Her jaw is somewhat strong and her chin, pointed. Dusky skin completes a rather lovely countenance and she wears her dark brown hair in a short, choppy cut. Family:
N'al of blue Keetoth
Linai of green PayithPets:
Aline was born the only child of two dragonriders some nineteen turns ago. Her mother was a greenrider named Linai and her father, a bluerider named N'al. As soon as she was old enough to be away from her birth mother, Aline was placed in the creche where she grew and thrive as best a weyrbrat could. She didn't make many friends while there, though she was friendly with Unai, and Aline always did what she was supposed to do.
She was too young to really remember the big thing that happened during her time in the creche, the white wherry plague, though she remembers some of the 'brats being saddened by the loss of parents and loved ones. She decided to stand a little later than most 'brats did, starting at twelve instead of ten. She never did impress throughout those young years, obviously, but not for a lack of trying. The armor was an interesting addition and Aline understood the necessity of it. She wasn't real thrilled at the idea of stuffing a bunch of people in rooms when the snowstorm and melt happened, but there was nothing she could do about it so she let it slide.
She was both saddened and disgusted when those stupid candidates killed eggs on the sands. Why would someone do something like that? It was unthinkable, leaving candidates who would have impressed those babies without a lifemate! Would that she could have punched one in the nose. The big fall of thread was terrifying, one of the few times Aline let her emotions get the best of her and she was glad that Dalibor's riders were safe for the most part from the death and destruction that had swept across Pern.
She tried to forget about the deaths that surrounded the next few turns, worried that thinking to hard upon them would cause a dragonet to look past her, Aline continued standing. She was lucky to be passed over by the most recent plague, though she worried that too many of the candidates would succumb and perish. Luckily they didn't. Spring of the eighteenth turn saw all of Aline's hardwork paying off. A burgundy named Jiorrelth broke shell during an uneventful hatching and made a beeline straight for Aline. Weyrling classes began and life was good. Updated
: Met a blackrider at the masquerade, for the first time since impression Aline wished she was graduated already. There was something about him that made her blush. Jiorrelth found his black equally entertaining and has taken to flirting with the grump gus as much as possible.
Jiorrelth hit the one turn mark! Graduation is closing in and soon Aline would be free to do as she chose with her free time. Jiorrelth still insists on flirting with Varith. Dragon Name:

Jiorrelth does everything with a plan. He's motivated to be the best of his class and nothing will stand in his way. He has a desire to see Aline show her true colors, he knows full well his rider is full
to the brim with the emotion she hides so well and the burgundy would love to see her explode. It may be the bossy little dragon eggs her on to get her to do just that. Jiorrelth is a go get 'er, he loves to do and be busy, often dragging Aline behind him without a care in the world. He knows some day he has all the makings of a first class wingleader, or maybe a weyrlingmaster! He's got plans! He's a flirt, Jiorrelth is, and he'll flirt with everything under the sun, might even flirt with an iron or two. Nothing can stop this burgundy from having a little fun!Dragon Appearance:
Jiorrelth is rather standard for a burgundy. He will mature to a length of 29' and become the average sturdy and stocky of his color. His coloring is on par with the rest of his type and is a deeper red with dark hints of purple. His wings sails are a bit darker in color than the rest of his body and his tail is on the shorter side. Dragon History:
Jiorrelth was hatched on a rather uneventful day, his hatching was pretty mundane and he found Aline in the bustle and bumble of candidates. Life was grand. Now they are going places! Doing things! With a pairing like Aline and Jiorrelth nothing could stand in their way! Lessons were fantastic, getting to know others were fantastic! Jiorrelth couldn't wait to grow up. Adoption Preference:
